The
Special Services is an extremely diverse department, created to meet
the varied needs of our students, their families, and the community.
While most of our work centers around students with identified special
needs, we also serve students who have English as their second
language, students who are homeless or displaced, and students who are
truant. We hope that, through this web site, you will gain a greater
understanding of our role in the Smyrna School District, and how we are
able to assist students and families who are in need of services.
